Have you seen this spammer?

Eddie Davidson

The chap pictured on the right is Edward "Eddie" Davidson, the spammer who was sentenced to 21 months in prison back in April.

Eddie got himself into trouble with the authorities after sending junk email encouraging people to buy perfume and luxury watches, while also trying to manipulate the stock market with pump-and-dump scams.

US Marshals are now searching for Davidson after he absconded from a federal prison camp in Florence, Colorado, on Sunday 20 July.

According to a report in the Rocky Mountain News, he was last seen in the area of Lakewood, driving his wife's silver Toyota Sequoia.

Interestingly, sightings of pump-and-dump stock market scams have plummeted in recent months. Last year, they accounted for approximately 30% of all spam, but today are less than 1 in every 100 spam emails that we see.
