Picture of a desk thinking

The tagline on this blog says "Thoughts from the desk of computer security veteran Graham Cluley".

Reader Simon got in touch to ask if the desk had many thoughts about computer security, as in his experience they tend to keep schtum about such things. I think he's got a point. And what qualifies me as a veteran anyway?

Clearly this deserves deeper investigation. For those who are interested, here is a picture of the desk in question.

If you look closely you can see Freddi Staur the Facebook Frog, who got banished from the social-networking site after exposing how easy it was to steal identities. If you have any ideas on what my desk should be thinking, please let me know.

About the author

Graham Cluley has worked in the computer security industry for more than 20 years, developing anti-virus software and doing quite a lot of talking about internet threats. He's won awards for his blogging, but is proudest of the text adventure games he wrote when he was still wearing short trousers. You can learn more about those (the games, not the trousers) at grahamcluley.com.
