Okay, hands up, I admit it.. I'm new to Twitter. Somehow the idea of micro-blogging every time I turn down the offer of a cup or tea, or details of if I tripped over my shoelaces on the way into the office this morning just never appealed to me.

But I recognize that a fair number of people, especially with an interest in computer security do use it to keep up-to-date with the latest threats, news and developments.

With that in mind I've set up my own Twitter feed at http://www.twitter.com/gcluley where you can follow the latest entries on this blog.

So, feel free to "follow" me on Twitter (hmm.. that sounds a little like I'm encouraging stalkers and anti-virus groupies..). You may find the Twitter posts a useful way to keep up with the latest news on your mobile device for instance.

I'm using the Twitterfeed service to automagically tweet entries from this blog onto Twitter. I'm not sure if that's the best way to do it - but I'll give it a go and see what happens.

Please email me any comments or suggestions you have about this. And if you're not a Twitter user, don't forget that we also provide this blog as a syndicated RSS feed.

Graham Cluley is senior technology consultant at Sophos. The readers of Computer Weekly voted him security blogger of the year in 2009 and 2010, and he pipped Stephen Fry to the title of "Twitter user of the year" too. Which was nice. He was also named "Best Security Blogger" by the readers of SC Magazine in 2011. You can subscribe to Graham's updates on Facebook, follow him on Twitter and circle him on Google Plus for regular updates.
