Talking computer security threats in 2008 and 2009

Earlier this week Sophos published its annual threat report - a free-to-download guide about the top computer security threats and trends we saw in 2008, and some predictions as to what we might see in the future.

This morning we've also released a podcast, talking through some elements of the report. So, if you want to hear Carole Theriault and myself chatting about computer security threats why not grab yourself a copy and bung it on your MP3 player?

We have a little studio here at Sophos where we record regular podcasts and also conduct radio interviews for stations around the world whenever a big computer security story hits the headlines.

I can't really claim to understand how it all works, but basically Carole and I sit in front of a couple of microphones and try not to put each other off too much, while Yogi the producer fiddles with buttons, knobs and dials to make it all sound wonderful. Yogi is also a star at editing out all the fluffs, mistakes, and vulgar swearing that normally occurs during the recording of a Sophos podcast.

By the way, if you enjoy the podcast you can download many more via iTunes or directly from our website.
