Victory for Sophos at SC Awards

Excuse me for being brief, but I'm typing this from a broom cupboard backstage at the Infosec show in London. I'm surrounded by wires, audio-visual gear, a karaoke system (come by booth G50 in Earls Court at 4pm to hear more from that) and a blue slushy machine.

Anyway, the reason I'm blogging rather than pressing flesh with customers is that last night at the SC Awards in London, Sophos was named Security Vendor of the Year and also walked away with the award for Best Anti-Malware Solution.

As you can imagine the chaps in our labs are feeling rather chuffed about this, so if you want to learn more check out the shameless corporate propaganda elsewhere on our site.

Oh, and as a final wrap-up on our activities in San Francisco last week - Sophos's endpoint solution was named as one of the 10 most interesting products at RSA 2009 (see slide 8) by eWeek.

Which is nice.

Okay, enough of the product plugs. On with the show..
