Sophos Security Chet Chat 41 - Who do you trust?

Filed Under: Apple, Data loss, Podcast, Privacy, Vulnerability

Sophos Security Chet Chat 41The last podcast of the year is here and my guest this week (on his vacation!) was Tony Ross, one of our Global Product Specialists.

To wrap up 2010 Tony and I discussed the weeks news including the Christmas day hacking of exploitdb.com and backtrack-linux.org, Apple pulling the WikiLeaks app from their App Store, the new zero day flaw in Internet Explorer and Veterans Administration doctors storing confidential data on Yahoo! Calendars.

As we often do when I have guests on, we also had an extended chat about a topic we have been discussing recently on the blog. The idea of who do you trust when you get an alert, phone call or email about your website being exploited, hosting malware or simply your PC being infected.

Shame the audio is not properly mixed, it's not fun listening to podcast's out of a single Chanel.

I thought it was mildly funky - Chester in one ear, Tony in the other - just like sitting between them when I visit the Vancouver office :-)

But I've mixed it down to mono. You're right, it's easier to listen to that way. Try it now...
