Here I am, working on a Sunday looking at all the different kinds of spam flowing into our spamtraps. It also happens to be Mother's Day, which means only one thing. Thats right ... a Mother's Day scam.
This one pretends to be sent from MyFunCards.com. The url was down when I tried to download the content, but access to it is prevented (for web appliance users).
I have seen the Father's Day ecard scam before, and many others including Labour Day and Christmas.
So it's not like I have not seen it before. It's becoming so common that on special occations like Mother's Day, I first call up my mother, wish her well and then go looking for scams on our spamtraps. ;-)
Happy Mother's Day
