The 20th Virus Bulletin conference is over and now we can return to our daily lives and continue protecting you from cybercrime. The conference was great fun, but with all the work (and a good deal of socializing) I fell behind in posting some of our content.
On September 21st Michael Argast joined me for Sophos Security Chet Chat 27. We discussed Check Point’s recent Zone Alarm scareware incident and Kurt Wismer’s thoughts on anti-virus marketing.
Other topics include Apple’s AFP patch, 4chan’s attack on the RIAA and Mike Wood and Paul Baccas’s Virus Bulletin presentations.

Paul Ducklin of Sophos Australia has posted the September 2010 “90 Second News” on our YouTube channel. You can watch it here or download the podcast.
Paul also joined me as this week’s guest on Sophos Security Chet Chat 28. The news includes an update to Adobe Flash Player and a discussion with Paul on some of the fear, uncertainty and doubt surrounding Stuxnet.
