Facebook is down, yes, down

It would appear there is an issue at social networking giant Facebook. While investigating the latest iPhone scam passing around Facebook this evening I noticed they went “unavailable”. I thought it must be me, I mean who has a more reliable connection, me or Facebook? I then logged into our European networks and confirmed it is totally down…

The outage seemed to be around 15 minutes, but they have returned to service as of 4:50 GMT. If there is any news as to what happened we will update this post.
