Today we’re launching a brand new site for our team of blogging security experts.
Our new Naked Security site brings Sophos’s team of computer security experts into one place. And we’ve not just given the place a fresh coat of paint and bought new curtains – the new site gives you the oft-requested ability to leave comments and enter the debate with other readers.
We hope you like the new visual style, the better usability for those of you who visit us from smartphones, better interlinking between related posts, and plenty of other improvements.
There are bound to be a few wrinkles which still need to be ironed out on the site, so either leave a comment or drop us a line if you spot something. Sites like Naked Security live or die depending on the feedback from their readers – so we want to hear from you!

I like the comment option and that it brings everyone together… I had gotten used to not needing to click anything to read one post after the other – which I liked – but I am sure it will be just a matter of time before I'm used to clicking to read (which is how most pages are anyway).

You should consider dedicating area on the blog to promote your free tools.

We wanted a name that was memorable and fun. : )
Weren't you having a contest a few months ago regarding naming a new blog? Is this the result? If so, who won the prize for coming up with the name? (good choice btw)
Yes, this was the winning name. We narrowed it down to our three favourites ("Security Hound", "Naked Security" and "Security Snoop") and the public voted in their droves for "Naked Security". I quite like the name – but would love to hear what other people think.
We're waiting to hear back from the person who dreamt up the Naked Security name to see if they want publicity for their inspired choice or not. 🙂
