Sophos Cloud Optix
The great and the good of the information security industry squeezed into their tuxedos and party frocks last night for a glittering gala dinner and awards ceremony in San Francisco, organised by the folks at SC Magazine.
It was a great night for Sophos with Sophos Email Security and Data Protection named as the Winner of SC Magazine’s 2011 Readers Trust Award in the Best Email Security category.
Sophos was awarded the title of best email security product by SC Magazine’s Reader Trust Voting Panel, which consists of readers who have volunteered their time and experience to carefully consider each contenders. The panel vote for the solution they feel is the most effective in helping them and their companies address security problems, as well as consider functionality, manageability, ease-of-use, scalability and customer service.
In addition to Sophos’s win, Naked Security’s Graham Cluley was named “Best Security Blogger” in a hotly-contested category. I don’t mind telling you that he’s pleased as punch, and took a couple of hours off from writing about Facebook rogue applications to celebrate. 🙂
